June Favourites

Heck. I'm so not ready for it to be half way though the year... Although this year is going way too quick and I can virtually see my life flashing before my eyes, (when am I going to meet the love of my life? Why am I not successful yet? Am I going to die alone? Are my cats going to eat my rotting body, only to be found by my neighbours once they get tired of the intoxicating smell overtaking the apartment complex?) there have been some ripper things I have discovered during the month of June!

Keep reading to see what I haven't been able to get enough of this month...

Sushi. Every meal I eat is sushi.

I'm craving sushi all the freakin' time. I'm not complaing but my bank account kinda is especially when I have food in my fridge at home... Never-the-less, I generally pop down to Yamato Sushi Train in Claremont or Sushi Wawa in Inaloo. So good.

Oatifix Face Mask

Winter honestly dries my skin to a Smiths Crisp. Although I like a good salt and vinegar chip, I don't want my face resembling one to be honest. Oatifix fresh face mask from Lush is packed full of banana, oats, honey and illipe butter and it makes my skin feel like a baby's bottom. It also smells like cake batter which is pretty darn cool (can confirm: does not taste like cake batter.)

Pana Chocolate

I'm trying to be a little, healthier (?) with my eating habits. I'm a massive sweet tooth and can generally polish off a whole block of Cadbury's Oreo Chocolate in one sitting (no joke, that's what made me gain my Year 12-twelve...)

Pana chocolate is raw, vegan and organic (all three things of which I am not,) and is also super yummy. It makes getting my chocolate fix relatively guilt free and I can't down a block at a time like my fave Cadbury... Winning? I guess? My favourite flavour is Sour Cherry & Vanilla.

Animal Kingdom

I've just discovered this series on Netflix and I'm 110% invested in it. It's gritty, steamy and intense. Sometimes I have to watch it through my fingers because I get #scared. Probably don't watch it with your mum. Or do. I don't really care.

Hello Fresh

If I'm not eating sushi I'm cooking up a storm with the help of Hello Fresh. This month my favourite meal was the Oven Baked Pesto Risotto. Oh lordy this was good. Will 110% be making again.

This Oven Baked Pesto Risotto was honestly the easiest and most delicious thing I've ever cooked.

Fit-bit Charge 2

End of financial year means time to treat yo-self. I did this buy buying a Fitbit to try encourage me to not treat myself so often if you get my drift... The Fitbit Charge 2 was reduced from $199 to $149 at JB Hi-Fi so I took the plunge. The Charge 2 tracks your heart rate, acts as a pedometer, sleep tracker and a bunch of other cool stuff. If you're looking to buy - now is the time!
